This is my travel essay about that journey from New Orleans where jazz began, via Chicago where jazz musicians moved for bigger jobs, via Boston where there has been the center of the education in music, and to New York where the biggest jazz mart in the world is. I visited lots of historic jazz sites, famous jazz venues, jazz schools, well-known restaurants, and tourist attractions. I met many great musicians and played with them in the jam sessions and the concerts. My travel essay will lead you to a living history of jazz and I hope that you enjoy the journey in my book. My journey was originally planned for the film shooting of Jazz And The City by Channel T which is a travel channel of Korea HD Broadcasting Corp.
